Holiday Game Suggestion + Clarification

Here is a fun game: every time a drink order is called out by a barista, react verbally and/or physically!

Ex: "Tall Vanilla Bean Frappuccino" "OOOOOO," coupled with forward lean, widened eyes, and claps.

Also, in response to some confusion regarding our last post, we are NOT actually in Paris. We remain in the strip mall Starbucks, playing the above game.

Love,
Meluntala

Here we are. We love you.

Friday of Black

Dear All,

Here I am. It is nice to be communicating in English. My home is mostly French-speaking these days due to the presence of my kindly half-grandmother.

Currently I am immersing myself in American culture at my favorite strip mall Bethesda Starbucks. This barista mixed toothpaste into hot chocolate and tried to call it a peppermint mocha. No thank you, sir. Give me my $4 back please.

You may remember that last year, I was forced to play Apples to Apples with two Vietnamese munchkins. Luckily this year, I ignored them until my half-father took pity on them and taught them a new card game. This allowed me time to sample chocolate cakes and mix spirits into my milky coffee. Yum. My half-mother baked seven different types of pie, 4 of which remain almost in their entirety. I hope we will be able to subsist on these for the next two days.

Tomorrow we will have brunch with our friends in little Georgetown. I hope brunch takes place at Georgetown Cupcake.

Does anyone think the EPA does a good job regulating brownfields? No? Yes agreed.

Love,

Meluntala
