Friday of Black

Dear All,

Here I am. It is nice to be communicating in English. My home is mostly French-speaking these days due to the presence of my kindly half-grandmother.

Currently I am immersing myself in American culture at my favorite strip mall Bethesda Starbucks. This barista mixed toothpaste into hot chocolate and tried to call it a peppermint mocha. No thank you, sir. Give me my $4 back please.

You may remember that last year, I was forced to play Apples to Apples with two Vietnamese munchkins. Luckily this year, I ignored them until my half-father took pity on them and taught them a new card game. This allowed me time to sample chocolate cakes and mix spirits into my milky coffee. Yum. My half-mother baked seven different types of pie, 4 of which remain almost in their entirety. I hope we will be able to subsist on these for the next two days.

Tomorrow we will have brunch with our friends in little Georgetown. I hope brunch takes place at Georgetown Cupcake.

Does anyone think the EPA does a good job regulating brownfields? No? Yes agreed.

Love,

Meluntala
